The Edmonton Horticultural Society (EHS)was established in 1909 as a non-profit society to promote the knowledge, understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of horticulture.  The EHS offers Affiliate Membership to encourage networking among like-minded, not-for-profit organizations.

Affiliate Members of the EHS pay no fees, and have no obligations over and above sharing information.   Affiliate status may be renewed annually, pending approval by the EHS Board of Directors in January of each year.

Information sharing between our organizations can occur in a number of ways, including:

  • An exchange of newsletters (if applicable);
  • An exchange of website links (if applicable);
  • An exchange of one business card-sized advertisement in your newsletter per year for the same in the EHS newsletter “Gardeners Gate” (if applicable);
  • An exchange of information about events for announcement to each organization’s members.
