John Janzen Nature Centre
Discover the natural wonders of Edmonton with interactive displays, interpretive programs and self-guided tours. Permanent exhibits include a beehive, frogs, fish, snakes and salamanders. Self-guided birch-tree and river loop nature trails are highlights -- if you encounter unusual tracks or wildlife on your visit, the John Janzen experts will help you identify your find. Admission: Child (2 to 12) $1.35; Senior/Youth (13 to 17) $1.65; Adult $1.90, Family $5. Summer hours (July 1 - Sept. 3): Open Mon - Fri 9 am - 6 pm, Sat, Sun & holidays 11 am - 6 pm.

Community Garden Network (CGN)
Promotes community gardening through:
- Support: to offer capacity building, resources and education;
- Creation: to act as a catalyst and promote the community gardening vision;
- Advocacy: to present needs on behalf of community gardens;
- Networking: to strengthen relationships and support amongst community gardens, and to build relationships with organizations and individuals outside the membership;
- Marketing: to create interest and awareness of community gardening

The Bonsai Club
This group gather to work on their trees each month and also meet to share ideas and techniques on raising and keeping Bonsai plants.
