EHS GARDEN TOUR
The EHS will have its Garden Tour on July 24 and 25, 2010 . Featured will be some of the winning gardens from 2009 Garden Competition, as well as some other view-worthy gardens.
Tickets will be available at our June meeting, and after that at several local garden centres.
Everyone viewing the gardens must have a ticket. The gardens open for viewing from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m..
The Garden Tour is one of our major fundraisers, so please plan to support the EHS and spend an enjoyable day looking at fabulous gardens. I usually get at least one or two ideas that I can try in my own garden. You probably will too. In addition, having the opportunity to talk to these accomplished gardeners will certainly give you some tips for improving your own gardening practices.
I hope you will all find time to take in the tour.
Volunteers - Gate Keepers
Volunteers will be needed. If you would like to volunteer (EHS membership requirements may be waved) contact Carol Lotzgeselle or Maggie Easton. Anyone who volunteers as a gatekeeper will get a ticket for the tour. The shifts are from 10 am to 1 pm and 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25. The duty of the gatekeepers is to make sure that everyone has a ticket. Please e-mail GardenTour@EdmontonHort.com if you wish to volunteer.
