The Edmonton Horticultural Society is well known throughout the city for its Annual Garden Competition, which is held every year in late July. The competition opens up to all gardeners in Edmonton and surrounding areas to compete for best in class. There are several categories a gardener can enter. From “Novice” to “Grand Challenge” type categories. The winners receive their wonderful prizes and officially celebrate their victory in September at the monthly meeting. It is definitely one of Edmonton’s most exciting garden competitions.

There are many other types of events occurring throughout the year:
