EHS Perennial Exchange and Plant Sale 2008

About the exchange and plant sale:
Spring 2008 exchangeThe perennial exchange is an opportunity for EHS members and the public to collect extra plants from their yards and bring them to exchange at no cost. EHS members donate extra plants for the sale table. Great deals are available at this table.
Dates:
Saturday September 6, 2008.
Event goes rain or shine. Refreshments are available.

Location:
EHS parking lot at 10746 – 178 Street, Edmonton
Timings:
• 10:00 AM - NOON : Plants are received and separated into categories in the staging area.
NOTE: Only EHS volunteers are permitted in the staging area.
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM : Sale of plants on the sales table.
Noon - 12:30 PM :People can enter the staging area to exchange their credits for plants. Don't be late or you might miss out!
• 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM : Remaining plants are sold.
*Vendors will sell their products from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Rules:
- Plants should be individually potted in sturdy containers (no paper or plastic bags).
- Label plants with botanical name (if known), common name, colour, height, spread, preferred conditions and bloom time.
- One credit is given per plant and the credit can be traded for another plant of equal value
(i.e. perennial for perennial, annual for annual, seed for seed, houseplant for houseplant, etc.).
- Credits cannot be exchanged for vendor products.
- NO GUARANTEE is given that exchange plants will be of equal value to plants brought.
- NO CREDIT is given for clustered bellflowers, chives, goutweed or white yarrow. You can bring these plants to give away, you just won't get a plant exchange.
- Any disputes will be settled by the Exchange Director. The decision is final.
