EHS Photo Competition 2008CALLING ALL GARDEN PHOTOGRAPHER
Photography, both digital and film, is a growing interest area for a number of people. Often those people are also interested in gardening, or see landscapes, natural areas, flowers and gardens as prime subjects for their photographic interest. To promote the sharing of your most precious photos the EHS held its first Photo Competition in 2007. We had some great photos submitted, and the judges had a difficult time choosing the winners. The rules are simple as well. Submit your great photos as 4 by 6 prints. You can enter as many photos as you like. Each photo entry cost $5. The pictures need to be clearly labeled on the back. You need to include your name, phone number, e-mail address (if you have one), and which category you are entering. There are four categories; winter, spring, summer and fall. The 2008 Photo Competition Winners were presented with their awards at the EHS Awards Night on September 29, 2008. First place winners received $25, and all winners received a framed copy of their prize-winning photo. See the winning photos by following the "Photos 2008 Winners" button on the left.
