Congratulations to Bruce Petterson
January Volunteer of the Month

Bruce is an EHS volunteer extraordinaire. Before joining the EHS Board of Directors in 2009, he worked on the Home and Garden Show committee and the Muttart Beds/Centennial Garden committee for several years, both as a member and as Chair. He has served as Board member and Treasurer for nearly three years, and during that time has taken on the additional task of Venue manager, ensuring that our monthly meetings run smoothly. Bruce is always willing to sit at EHS display tables, help with fundraisers, and look after many of the details of Society management. He steps down from Board duties in February 2012 and will be missed. Thank you Bruce, for everything.

Volunteer Appreciation Evening

Thanking some 200 volunteers for their great work, generosity and commitment is nothing short of a party each year in March.

A funny money casino offers the thrills of Las Vegas without the risks! Every volunteer receives tickets to enter draws for great prizes. Yummy food and good company round out the evening and a good time is had by all.
